 Under the theme: ‘It’s Your Union Too: Workers Unite, Stand Up For Your Rights’, the St.Kitts-Nevis Trades and Labour Union (SKNT&LU), has successfully hosted its 82nd annual conference.
Notably, the Union is set to host its second session during the COVID-19. The pandemic has brought on some challenges for workers, workplaces and the labour market in general around the world.
“We have to ensure that we are including all of our young men and women and also our children at the primary school and high school level. Teaching our young men and women the art form of agriculture or the role that agriculture should play would make them much more inclined to embrace the importance of agriculture in moving forward,” he noted.
