BASSETERRE (21st October, 2021) — St. Kitts and Nevis has approved the Antigen test for outgoing air travellers whose destination countries accept approved rapid testing upon return from international destinations. The Federation has also removed the exit testing requirement for travellers whose countries of origin do not require return testing. Exit tests will be taken at the traveller’s Travel Approved hotel or accommodation by a Ministry of Health approved health professional, 48–72 hours prior to departure, with samples tested in a certified local lab. Scheduling must be through the hotel concierge; travellers staying in villas, condos or private homes should contact the COVID-19 taskforce hotline at 311 or Covid19taskforce@gov.kn. Test costs range between USD$50 and USD$55. Approved labs are: The Joseph N. France Laboratory, Next Gen Laboratory, Avalon Laboratory and Quality Diagnostics. All entry travel protocols and requirements remain in place, including submission of a negative RT-PCR test from 72 hours prior to arrival.
