Robbers Run Through Village, Shoot Man Plus Target Two Others

BASSTERRE, St.Kitts (Wednesday 24th October 2018)One man is currently being nursed at the hospital after being shot at by armed robbers following an incident in St. Paul’s last night in the aftermath of the two attackers running about an area of the community.

Injured is 44-year-old Wayne Connor of St. Paul’s.

Local authorities are currently investigating that incident in which two armed masked men shot and injured an individual, then robbed two persons.

Police received a report of a shooting incident that occurred in St. Paul’s at about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday night (October 23).

Investigations into the matter so far have revealed that Connor was sitting on wall in the vicinity of a supermarket along the Island Main Road when two masked gunmen ran up from a road and began firing shots at him.

Police say the men then made their way up to Rawlins Avenue and robbed two individuals at gun point.

Connor was transported to the Joseph N France General Hospital in Basseterre where he is listed as being in a stable condition.
