BASSETERRE (Friday 22nd January 2021) — A Nevisian farmer known as ‘Keybo’ has made a second police report after intruders returned to his Spring Hill area farm, chopping down mango, banana, avocado, coconut, breadfruit, papaya and soursop trees, and destroying 250 feet of piping. “All me life me see wicked things happen but me never see nothing like ah this; this magnitude at all! All me pipes chop up and me fruits trees dem chop down!” he said. As gathered, there is ongoing controversy regarding certain land areas occupied by some farmers who are being accused of squatting. Keybo said he is waiting for police to give a statement before cleaning up his banana field.
