TWO VEHICLE INSPECTORS VISIT JAPAN TO GAIN INSIGHT ON PRE-SHIPMENT INSPECTION

EXCITING DEVELOPMENTS IN FEDERATION’S VEHICLE INSPECTION AND SAFETY MEASURES

 In a significant move toward ensuring vehicle safety and consumer protection, EAA Ltd is set to visit the Federation in 2024. Their mission involves conducting a comprehensive needs assessment at all vehicle inspection facilities within the Federation. Inspection shops meeting minimum requirements will be equipped with base equipment to ensure vehicles are inspected at a standardized level locally.

ST. KITTS AND NEVIS TO AMPLIFY ITS VOICE IN CLIMATE NEGOTIATIONS AT COP28 WITH DIVERSE DELEGATION

Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 10, 2023 (SKNIS): In a decisive move to strengthen its influence in global climate discussions, St. Kitts and Nevis has expanded its delegation at the upcoming Conference of Parties-COP28. The Honourable Dr. Joyelle Clarke, Minister of Environment and Climate Action, during the November 8 edition of Infocus, emphasized the critical importance of this diversified representation, including various ministers and technical experts, to effectively address the multifaceted challenges of climate change.

ICH SECRETARIAT TO HOST SECOND C.O.R.E. KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER CAMP

The ICH Secretariat is hosting its 2nd annual C.O.R.E (Cultural Oriented Revival Explosion) Knowledge Transfer Camp. This activity starts on the 4th – 15th December, 2023 and begins at 8.30 am and ends at 2.30 pm from Monday to Friday for children ages 8- 16 years from across St. Kitts and Nevis. The camp will be held at the St. Johnson Community Centre, Basseterre. The goal of the camp is to transfer ICH knowledge and skills from existing Knowledge Bearers to the next generation of Knowledge Bearers and Practitioners annually.
