UPDATED: Gillards Meadow Teen Missing

BASSETERRE, St.Kitts (Tuesday 22nd January 2019)-  Police are currently trying to track down the whereabouts of a teenager from Gillard Meadows in St.Peter’s.

 Missing is 19-year-old Deaundre Farrell.

He is described as being 5’07” in height with a slim build, , dark complexion with brown eyes wearing his hair braided in single plaits.

He was wearing a black vest, short blue three-quarter pant and a blue pair of Nike slippers.

Reportedly, he was last seen by his mother  three days ago on January 19 while more recent police information reveals that he was last seen in Westbury, Nevis.

Persons who might have seen him or know anything regarding Farrell’s whereabouts are asked to contact the Basseterre police station at 465-2241 or the crime hotline at 707.

This latest missing person report comes on the heels of yesterday’s found safe status of two young men ages 15 and 20. However, no official missing posters were issued by police.This media house understands that both men were in Nevis when relatives, friends and others concerned raised alarms for public assistance in locating them.

United States Supports Cultural Preservation at Historic Bath Hotel in Nevis

On January 17, the U.S. Embassy joined representatives of the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis, including Nevis Premier, the Honorable Mark Brantley, along with members of the Nevis Historical and Conservation Society at the Bath Hotel in Nevis to mark the successful completion of the second phase of restoration and stabilization work at the historic site. The project was supported through the U.S. Government’s Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation, with total funding of just over US$400,000 provided across two phases.
