Small Wins Big In Green Valley Pageant

Basseterre, St. Kitts (Saturday 19th May 2018)- It was a night of glamour and glitz at the 2018 Miss Green Valley Pageant held last night ( Friday) at Maynard’s Park, Lower Cayon which saw the newly-crowned Queen Ariel Small winning big.

The keenly contested competition saw five (5) young ladies vying for the prestigious title but in the end, a young woman with a passion for change in the Cayon community walked away with the coveted.

The young beauty-sponsored by Kadz Bar- captured the highest scores for Best Swimwear, Best Talent, Best Evening, Miss Photogenic, Miss Amity and the Chairman’s Award.
Small said that she entered the pageant to rally with her community in aid of sustaining culture and most importantly assisting in the ongoing fight against the social ill of unemployment amongst young adults in our federation.

RIA- sponsored beauty, Nambia Clavier came in First-Runner-Up.

Clavier who was recognised as one of the 25 Most Remarkable Teens for 2017 was adjudged top awards for Best Introductory Speech and Best Interview.

The 22-year old beauty said that her participation in this year’s Queen Pageant was her way of giving back to her community as they celebrate 22 years for the festival.

The other competitors were the S L Horsfords & Co Ltd sponsored Taniqua McSheen, Kerry Kelly who was sponsored by I & B Construction Ltd and Shamella Ephriam who was sponsored by ELCO LTD.
