Young Female Raped At Knife Point

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (Friday 13th September 2019) – Police are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a young female at knife point in an unoccupied building in the Basseterre area last weekend.

The crime happened on Friday 6th September and was reported at about 10:45 p.m, police say.

Preliminary reports indicate that a male assailant held the victim, pulled her into the building and assaulted her.

Police are making a special appeal to persons who might have any information regarding this incident that can lead to the apprehension of the perpetrator to contact the Special Victims Unit (SVU) by dialing 465-2241 ext. 4252 or 665-3091.

Individuals can also reach out to the nearest police station or call the crime hotline at 707.

Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
