Young Athlete Dies In Vehicle Accident

BASSETERRE, St.Kitts– A young male basketballer was killed after a vehicle accident last night (Sunday 1st October) in the West Farm community.

Dead is Secada Garroden of team SP Kings. He is believed to be about 18 years old.
Information reaching this media house indicates that the incident occurred sometime after 10 P.M on the island’s main road in the vicinity of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.

As gathered, the young man along with other team mates were travelling home on an omni passenger bus following a game played at Basketball City in Basseterre.

As gathered the young man was pronounced dead on the scene of the accident.
Unconfirmed reports indicates that at least one other person was injured in another vehicle following that collision.
