T’Shaunte Smith Of Constituency Three Is Miss Labour Queen 2022

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (Monday 2nd May 2022) — From a field of eight competitors, T’Shaunte Smith of Constituency Three emerged winner of the Miss Labour Pageant held on the night of Saturday 30th April 2022 at Carnival Village in Basseterre. The new Queen copped two out of four segments — Best Motivational Speech and Best Creative Wear — and was crowned by Party Leader Dr. Terrance Drew.

Constituency Four representative Taiyonce Liburd, who won Best Evening Wear, placed First Runner-Up, while Adoncia Mulraine of Constituency Six got the Second Runner-Up and was adjudged Best Performing Talent. Jewvonna Morson of Constituency Eight placed Third Runner-Up and emerged winner of the online Most Popular on Social Media award. The other four contestants were Desica Nisbett of Constituency Two (Miss Photogenic Award), Tamiqua Douglas of Constituency Five, Cleo Fahie of Constituency Seven and Sapphire Mathew of Constituency One. This annual event, held as one of the activities spearheaded by the SKNLP for the observance of Labour Day, was staged for the first time in two years due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
