The Unity Mirage Has Proven Itself Incompetent To Gover

 By Earle Clarke, 23/10/2017:

“People elect governments to create jobs, to improve the standard of living for them and their children, educationally and financially, to protect the borders of the land, to uphold law and order and the safety of the inhabitants, to ensure that the country is not invaded by foreign agents, to protect the integrity and the reputation of the country and its people. Elected representatives who fail to perform these tasks have demonstrated their incompetence to govern and to hold office. Instead of being worthy representatives, they have morphed into traitors to the country and should demit office immediately by the same very people who gave them the job to guard and protect it.” Kennedy Earle Clarke.
Dear reader, Carl Sagan, in his – The Demon Haunted world, had this to say, “One of the saddest lessons in history, is this: If we have been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We are no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It is simply too painful to acknowledge even to ourselves, that we have been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.”
Our country is in grave crises. It is disintegrating into a haven for all sorts of underhand dealings as long as the price is right, for one or more of the Ministers of the Government. We are already scraping the moral barrel because our so-called men who once venomously stood up as if they possessed back bone in order to oust the progressive Government and party of Dr. Denzil Douglas from office, are now stooped and bending over, (apparently emulating the leader of the land) diagnosed with cancer of the spine, thereby rendering them incapable of standing erect. Although we are a part of the animal kingdom, our ability to stand erect is what differentiates us from the apes, the gorillas and the monkeys. From what is happening today, it seems as if the evolutionary process is being reversed because our men, who are supposed to possess the higher intellect seems totally incapable to differentiate between right and wrong and, when they do so, they do so with bias, without any pricking of their conscience. Are the men of St. Kitts a lost race? Will we observe them flying through trees, swinging and holding on to branches with their tails? What manner of men are we today? Is it because of our attempts at climbing the social ladder why we are stifling our consciences which is that inner voice oft times referred to as the voice of the Creator?
A man comes home to find his Christian wife in their bedroom with a notorious tourist of HMP 1840. When he enquired what this character is doing sitting on his bad, the wife informed him that she is leading him to God by discussing the Bible with him. The husband, not a born Kittitian and enjoying a better life here than where he was born, sucked up the excuse given and continued living with her, but found preference with the Spanish. There was this tailor by trade gentleman who lived in New Town; he possessed three old sewing machines which provided him and his wife their livelihood. The boyfriend of the wife provided her with a spanking brand new sewing machine from Singer at the top of Rosemary Lane and Cayon Street, which was delivered to her at the tailor shop. She did not inform him that she was ordering any new machine for neither of them could afford it. Apparently she complained to the boy friend who had a rum shop about the old machines and he decided to surprise her. As soon as the machine addressed to the wife, landed in the tailor shop, the husband threaded it up and began sewing, without asking how it came, where it came from, who sent it and who bought it. Can this husband be referred to as a real backboned man, a man with spine, a man of tough mettle? A couple living at Bird Rock, just finished building their home; to travel to and from to work and to take the children to school, they credited a new vehicle. The husband had a top class job and the wife took a secretarial course in typing and short hand from Mrs. Ribeiro, South of The Seventh Day Adventist Church. The wife was a gorgeous looking woman who possessed principles.
One day, when she went into the Manager’s Office to take notes, he snuggled up to her and invited her to go out with him. She totally ignored him. After several repeats, she reported the incidents to her husband. Instead of the husband defending his wife by promising to visit or telephone or even threaten the manager, spineless man that he is said, “Darling, if you were to lose your job, how will we be able to pay for the house and the vehicle and still look after the children? The wife moved out from him, found another job, credited a vehicle and lived well with her children. What about those men who, in order to climb the social ladder join certain clubs whose initiation ceremony is that all vehicle and house keys with their names written be pooled together on a table situated in the dark. You cannot pick up your own keys, so you manfully knew that someone else was definitely going to go unto (no apology) your wife, who you instructed before leaving for the club meeting, to dress in the sexiest lingerie (which you yourself might have bought for the occasion). Somebody was definitely going to be with your wife and you were surely going to go unto somebody’s, but you want to be in society bad, bad, so you do not mind and you do not count the cost. It’s like putting up your house as collateral when you take a loan from the bank. What a price to pay for your ascendancy, eh? These are the men who dwell in our beautiful Paradise of a Federation today. Spineless, hopeless, helpless, bent over, unprincipled men who can be bought and sold for a few cents as long as they do not face any obstacles in their upward mobility to the social table spread out enticingly for them.
You mean to tell me dear reader that a Stem Cell Operation was set up at our local J.N. France Hospital illegally and not one Doctor possessed the ducats (balls) to say that this is illegal and that they will not and cannot stand for this? Not one? Did these Medical Officers take the Hippocratic Oath? A Brazilian Doctor was brought in to oversee the operations, she was not licensed to practice medicine in the Federation and not one Doctor objected to this illegal state of affairs? Not even one? Do our men still possess testicles? Do our professional men still possess PRINCIA NON HOMENES—Principles, not men! And we condemn those who rob us of our worldly possessions? Why are we not condemning the behavior of these men who we look up to? From whence does wrong cease to be wrong? Oh, how I am bawling long water out of my eyes for my beloved country and those who love it are invited to do the so with me? When I was a Police Officer, I bluntly refused to carry news to the Chief of Police because I was not ‘no’ newspaper reporter. When I was in young Labour, I stood up to Mr. Bradshaw at a Party Conference upstairs Masses House and refused to sit down despite the taunts and the jeers from those present. It was unheard of for anyone to challenge Mr. Bradshaw, but this little upstart from New Town did it and earned the respect of the man.
As a Referee I was stoned at St. Pauls and Sandy Point, but later earned their respect the next time I refereed at these venues, everyone knew what I stood for and gave the respect due to me. I have stood up a Judge in the High Court and the Magistrate in his Court and challenged the dress code of these institutions.
A certain Magistrate even directed that I be placed on the Police Bench, where I sat for four hours: but what I challenged then, came to fruition a few years later. No one can force you to wear a coat or a tie in the Court today. This article is not about me, but I had to interject to show that we can all stand up like the men of spine, the men of backbone, the men of balls, the men of principles we were created by the Almighty to be. All these assets are there. Search for them and find them, then stand tall and tell those for whom we voted, that enough is enough! That it is we who gave them the job and we can fire them if they are found to be incompetent! When we have discovered these assets, we will be able to ask those who represent us, “How come, a Herpes Experiment took place for 6 (Six) long months in our country and they whom we elected to represent us knew nothing about it? We demand answers immediately or else they deserve to be fired. If a security officer is guarding up at RAM’S Supermarket and the place is broken into during the night, they shelves are cleaned of all their items, do you blame RAMS the owner, or do you blame the security guard who was hired to protect the place? This is what we voted the unity mirage to do? We voted for them to guard us from these negative happenings in our country and they have failed us. They have proven themselves to be both incapable of performing the duties we assigned to them, thereby rendering them incompetent and of no use whatsoever.
It is quite evident now to all and sundry that they have not taken the job with any serious concern for us and the country; it was all about them. What a motley crew we suddenly realize we have running our fair land? Alan Moore once quoted, “People should not be afraid of their government. The Government should be afraid of the people!” But it is the other way around. We are fearful of expressing our annoyance, our disappointment, our disgust at their performance, at their dereliction of duty. Tell us Mr. Prime Minister, where were these experiments carried out? Was every precaution taken to ensure that no inhabitant (cleaners, suppliers, the dump truck man, the people over at the landfill, the taxi drivers or the chauffeur) was contaminated? Did those persons on whom the experiments took place, allowed to mingle with the local population? Did they have sex with our women or our men? I remember that, in the 1980’s a white man from the USA visited and stayed at Cayon Village. He was loaded with money and contaminated with AIDS. It seemed as if he wanted to wipe out the entire village because he was offering US$50.00 to go with women and US$100.00 for the men to go with him. People became alarmed at his antics and reported him. He was eventually deported from the country! What AIDED SCARS did he leave in the village and the country, with his deportation?
Does the experiment with the herpes present a similar threat to our sexual existence on the island? The situation is mind boggling; the thought is sickeningly and frightfully frightening? How come they chose St. Kitts to perform such experiments? Is it in the international grapevine that our leaders are corrupt, that once the price is right, anything and everything goes in St. Kitts? Whether you support Labour, PAM, CCM, NRP, PLP, the unity mirage, do you firmly and sincerely and genuinely believe that no Government minister knew anything about this experiment taking place in our country? Those of you who believe that they did not know, please raise your right hand? I do not see any hands! Dear reader, all of us should be trembling in our boots, for what transpired in our country last year; things are rough and tough under the unity mirage; people are dead broke and the offer of a few US Dollars could easily lull us into throwing caution to the wind. The reality of our recklessness could cause untold damage to the relationship between people. This unity mirage has brought nothing but infamy on this country. The other day, our Deputy Premier in the Nevis Island Administration and Foreign Minister in the Federal Cabinet Mark Brantley, was in real trouble in the Court, but the Bar Association huddles for warmth in their winter coats as the snowflakes descended on the land and the carolers blended their voices in singing the Christmas Carol, “SILENT NIGHT!” Not even a whisper of condemnation from this organization. No imploring for our Government to release this man from performing his duties. How can the corrupt chastise the corrupted? Woe be unto the future prospects of our Federation with this kind of behavior?
When we look around our Federation, there is this dark cloud of uncertainty; that all around is decay. We observe the education of our children, the future leaders of our country, being assassinated. What manner of parents are we to stand idly by and allow our children to be led to the altar to be slaughtered educationally in the name of politics and in order for some people not to be seen for what they really are- heartless, evil, spiteful, uncaring and loathing with contempt for the children of the working class. How long Jesus, how long will you allow us to stand in our boots and tremble with fear and inaction to rescue our children from these demonic politicians now ruling our country? What demonic trance have they placed upon us, rendering us impotent to rescue our children from this onslaught? Where are the Christian men and women to pray for this spell to be lifted, so that we could rise up and defend our children?
