The report from the survey conducted across Saint Kitts was presented to the Water Services Department on October 06, 2025. At the Sitting of the National Assembly on Friday, October 17, 2025, Minister of Public Infrastructure, the Honourable Konris Maynard, shared that 17 sites have been identified with the promise to provide potable water – that is, water safe for consumption.

The Basseterre Public Market has taken a huge step forward, as persons now have the option of ordering fresh produce from local vendors from the comfort of their homes, via an online portal.
“We have to ensure that we are including all of our young men and women and also our children at the primary school and high school level. Teaching our young men and women the art form of agriculture or the role that agriculture should play would make them much more inclined to embrace the importance of agriculture in moving forward,” he noted.
