BASSETERRE (Friday 18th September 2020) — A road maintenance worker has died after being flung from a vehicle in a traffic accident in Saddlers on Saturday 12th September 2020. Dead is 28-year-old Jimmy Jules of St. Paul’s, known as ‘JoJo’, employed at the Public Works Department. The accident involved motor truck P8191, driven by Vincent Richards of Cayon, and motorcycle P9391, driven by O’Neil Doyling of Saddlers. Richards swerved to avoid a motorcycle that came out of a side road in front of him, lost control, and the truck flipped on its side. Jules, a passenger on the back, was flung from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Doyling is being sought by Police to assist with the investigation.
