Prime Minister Dr. Drew to Address the United Nations General Assembly on Friday, September 27, 2024

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, September 26, 2024 (SKNIS) – Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, the Honourable Dr. Terrance Drew, is scheduled to address the international community during the General Debate of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Friday, September 27, 2024.

The General Assembly is the main deliberative policymaking and representative organ of the United Nations. The theme guiding this year’s General Debate is, “Leaving No One Behind: Acting Together for the Advancement of Peace, Sustainable Development and Human Dignity for Present and Future Generations.”

As the sixth scheduled speaker in the afternoon session on Friday, Prime Minister Dr. Drew is expected to deliver his National Statement to the General Debate at approximately 4:25pm.

The Honourable Prime Minister’s UNGA address will be carried live on ZIZ TV (Channel 5) and ZIZ Radio (95.9, 96.1, 96.3 or 96.9 FM), as well as on the Facebook and Youtube pages of the St. Kitts and Nevis Information Services (SKNIS), the PMO Youtube page and via UN Web TV.
