BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (Thursday 15th February 2024) – The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis is enhancing the radiological services at the Joseph N. France (JNF) General Hospital, marking a major leap forward in medical diagnostics available to the federation’s citizens, residents, and visitors.
This development, announced by Prime Minister and Minister of Health, the Honourable Dr. Terrance Drew, during a Cabinet Press Conference on Tuesday 13th February 2024, is said to underscore the government’s commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and service delivery.
A key aspect of the upgrades includes the strategic bolstering of the Radiology Unit’s staffing. “For the first time in its history, the JNF Hospital boasts the highest number of radiographers, totaling seven, alongside two full-time radiologists,” stated Dr.
