Fair Share For All: Pen, Paper And NGOs — The Letters The NGOs Were Slow To Write

I love my Labour Party. My St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party. I want us to win so bad. Most people want us to win too. And I know we can. But to win, the candidates and their teams have to put in the work. Nothing can be taken for granted. Nobody can be taken for granted. Every single door must be knocked. Every single occupant engaged. Most people will not sell their vote nor their soul to the devil — thank God. Don’t care how much money is being offered. It’s a shame how transactional elections have become for some people. And when a politician buys a vote, that’s the end of the indebtedness to the voter.

I am hearing of all the tricks and gimmicks that Timothy plans to use in a desperate effort to stay in power. PAM and CCM know all that was done in 2015 and again in 2020, so they should start to talk. Tell us in Labour what to expect so that all of us — they included — would be prepared. Look at how Timothy has made a spectacle of the Governor General. The man is obviously very sick and ought not to be paraded up and down like a curiosity. Nobody used to have to hold up any of our former governors general because they were not able. That is the length to which Timothy will go to hold on to power. Having seen the Governor General, more and more people are convinced that all the letters purported to have come from him may have come from another source.

I’m happy that the NGOs are trying to debunk the belief that they only have strength for Dr Douglas and Labour. Even at this eleventh hour, it’s a start. They now need to keep hounding Timothy and take their message to the airwaves and social media. They have seen for themselves that with the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party there is leadership that is stable and mature. Nothing like what is happening now. Vote for the HAND. The caring HAND of Labour.
