BASSETERRE, St.Kitts- (JANUARY 2018) – Earlier this week, daughter of the latest murder victim took to social media, particularly Facebook, and seemingly appealed to members of the public to help find the boyfriend of her murdered mom 45-year-old Shirley Dawn Morton of Gingerland, Nevis.

“To SOME WHO DON’T NO DIS [bleep]… HE KILLED MY MOTHER ON SUNDAY 21/01/2018 IS NO WHERE TO BE FOUNDED!!!!!! GOD DON’T SLEEP!!,”  she expressed in a post using a photo which was the first publicised image of the then wanted man.

Chapman, who was wanted by the local authorities for questioning was found yesterday (Thursday).

Via a wanted poster on Tuesday 23rd January, police had officially released photographic identity of 52-year-old Wayne ‘Spyer’ Chapman.

Other photo released of wanted man Wayne Chapman.

This media house understands that the deceased’s daughter released his photo before the local authorities (at least a little over an hour); one of which was used by police.

Notably, before the wanted poster -with two provided pictures-was issued, Chapman’s name was included in a police press release following Sunday’s (21st January) deadly incident, indicating that he was being sought in connection with the crime.

Morton’s lifeless body was discovered in his house located at Buck Hill, Hanley’s Road in Nevis.
