Court Verdict: ‘Reese Walters killed that school girl’

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (Friday 10th May 2019)- Almost five years after the homicide of Nevisian school girl 15-year-old Shante Claxton, her accused murderer 26-year-old Reese Walters was recently found guilty.

Walters of Cotton Ground, Nevis received his judgement last Friday (3rd May) of unanimous ‘Guilty’ verdict by jurors.

He is currently remanded at Her Majesty’s Prison in St.Kitts awaiting sentencing for his crime.

Walters was charged with the death Claxton of Jessups Village on September 14, 2014 after she was found dead on the bathroom floor of the St. Thomas Primary School a few days earlier on 6th September.

Autopsy results indicated that her death was caused by manual strangulation.
