Basseterre Businessman Accused Of Sex Crime Too

BASSETERRE, St.Kitts (November 2018)- Days after a well-known senior government official was arrested and charged for indecent assault, a well-known businessman who plies his trade in the Basseterre area has been accused of an offence in that category too.

This media house understands that the individual believed to be in his 50s or 60s was arrested and charged sometime last week in the matter involving a young girl allegedly in her teens.

Information gathered indicates that the businessman is behind bars while the senior civil servant, said to be about 55 in age, has been released on bail; his accuser said to be in her 20s.
