Minister of Tourism Lindsay Grant confirmed all works at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport would be fully completed for the first commercial flight — American Airlines — scheduled for Saturday 7th November, transporting 122 passengers. “I am advised that come November 7th, we would be ready. Yes, we have one or two bits of work to complete but on November 7th we will be ready for American Airlines,” he said. Grant noted November 7th was “a signal moment” from which lessons would be learned about the speed of processing 122 persons through the new COVID protocols.
