Young Mother Charged For Harming Child

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (Saturday 2nd February 2019)-Police have informed that

34-year-old Kimberly Liburd of Mansion Village has been charged for the offence of Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm on a juvenile which was committed in Mansion Village on January 21, 2019.

This media house credibly understands that the victim is the woman’s son who is said to be about 13 or 14 years old.

Liburd is said to also have a daughter believed to be about 4 years old.

This week, images of the alleged victim with what appears to be a severe burn injury about his upper arm has been circulating via social media, resulting in widespread public debate.
