BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (Thursday 4th November 2021) — At least two children are among those who were injured following a vehicle crash involving a passenger bus in the White Gate area on the morning of Wednesday 3rd November 2021.

This media house has been reliably informed that two male students from the Saddlers Secondary School were on the bus and one of them got their foot broken as a result of the traffic accident. Speaking to an individual from the community area it was gathered that the crash occurred at an area called Jelly Walk “over the hill over at the first curve” and that the driver was coming from St. Paul’s. It was further stated that the vehicle upon impact “hit some stones” in the area resulting in extensive damages to the vehicle.

In other traffic accident news, a source at the Police Public Relations Department provided details about an accident which happened on Monday 1st November along the island’s main road in the Buckley’s community in the vicinity of the Joseph N. France General Hospital, involving a child and a moving vehicle. As gathered, the accident “wasn’t serious because the mother was able to pull the child out of the way which minimised the impact.” Reportedly, both were treated and discharged that night.
