We Are Returning To A State Of Normality

It is such a refreshing feeling! On a daily basis, and, from almost every corner of the nation, come our people’s expressions of just how wonderful it feels to be well along the road of returning to a state of normalcy, especially after the seven plus years of constant horror, daily anxiety, local and international corruption, and endless embarrassment which we experienced under the erstwhile regime.

Our new administration, with a truly wonderful blend of youth and experience, is already proving that Labour has the ability to govern in the people’s interest, as indeed we always have. That is not a boast. Our record speaks for itself!

We are impressed with the efforts to bring matters ‘back on track’, especially where it comes to our national finances, education, health, tourism, international affairs, agriculture, justice, and infrastructure, to name only a limited number of the areas in which such attempts are urgently required.

We compliment all those concerned, and urge them to continue, unceasingly, in their well doing. Our people are depending on each and everyone of you.

It is especially important that we should succeed in our efforts as there are signs of looming global disruptions, the effects of which could be perilous for all nations, big and small.

Therefore we cannot afford to let down our guard.

Already there are signs of efforts to destabilize the situation and undermine our efforts at doing good.

We should always be mindful of the fact that some individuals cannot accept defeat, and they always spend their time plotting and trying to inflict acts of revenge.

Note well the sudden up-tick in murders and attempts to rob business and private places.

Another worrying development, according to reports reaching this newspaper, was the very recent seizure of a vessel carrying an enormous quantity of narcotics, purportedly destined for The British Virgin Islands.

We congratulate and thank all those who helped to bring about that interception, but we feel ourselves constrained to ask: was The BVI the actual destination?

The forces of evil NEVER give up, therefore we MUST maintain our vigilance. Failure to do so hurts us all, and we just cannot afford to allow that to happen.

As we have warned many times in the past, eternal vigilance is the price of peace.

We are returning to a state of normality, and that is good for the country as a whole, especially as we have to be ready to cope with a potential global economic meltdown.
