Victor Moses Shot Dead On His Farm In Belle Vue Mountain; First Homicide Of 2022

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (Thursday 20th January 2022) — 57-year-old Victor Moses of Belle Vue Mountain who was found dead on his farm was shot, according to an autopsy report. This man’s death is the first recorded homicide for 2022 in St. Kitts-Nevis. An autopsy performed on Moses’ body by Resident Pathologist Dr. Adrian Nuñez on Wednesday 19th January concluded that death was as a result of severe head injury due to gunshot wounds to the head.

Moses’ body was found by a relative on his farm at Belle Vue Mountain on Thursday 13th January. Police received the report of his death sometime after 7 p.m. and several units responded. Upon arrival, officers observed his motionless body lying on the ground with what appeared to be gunshot wounds about the body. The District Medical Officer arrived at the scene and pronounced him dead. The scene was processed by personnel from the Forensic Services Unit and several items of evidential value were taken into custody.
