BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (Wednesday 14th February 2024)- Three (3) days after tying the knot with his fiancee Diani Prince during a small, intimate ceremony, Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis Dr. Terrance Drew was publicly seen at work, and even the day before the special occasion in staying connected with the citizens and residents.
The nuptial news was officially shared via Dr. Drew’s official Facebook page on Saturday 10th February 2024 in greetings “with a grateful heart” informing about his marriage to the now Mrs. Diani Prince-Drew, who originally hails from the neighbouring country St.
Vincent and the Grenadines. The wedding took place in the beautiful CARICOM sister island of Barbados on 10th February 2024 in the presence of God, as the ceremony was officiated by Rev. Fr. David Yarde of the Anglican Church.
The ceremony was attended by my mother, my son and my sisters and the close family members of my wife. I therefore officially introduce you to Mrs. Diani Prince-Drew. We ask for your prayers and support as we embark on our new life together,  Prime Minister Drew expressed.
On Tuesday 13th February, the Prime Minister’s Press conference with Cabinet Ministers-the first one for the new yearwas held. Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Geoffery Hanley during that live broadcast media session extended congratulations to the newly married couple on behalf of the Cabinet.
Notably, Dr. Drew, who is the Minister of National Security and also the Parliamentary Representative for Constituency Eight, on Friday 9th February issued a video statement via his Facebook page saying that his heart was heavy having learnt about an incident resulting in the loss of two innocent toddlers.
The video had the caption: “Good evening, I am currently away on a personal matter, but after learning of this heartbreaking incident that resulted in the loss of two innocent toddlers, I had to pause to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones. This is a sad moment for the community of St.
Peters and the entire country. I pray for God’s comfort and love to envelop the family members at this time. I am indeed heartbroken. Please accept my sincere sympathy at this trying time.” – LOCAL NEWS – 3
