NEVIS DENTAL CLINIC DONATES TO FLAMBOYANT NURSING HOME — June 16, 2022
The Flamboyant Nursing Home was presented with another gift to assist with the care of its residents by Dr. Ravi Chinnaswamy, on behalf of Nevis Dental Clinic on June 16, 2022. Donation items included thermometers, stethoscopes, blood pressure monitors, adult diapers, wipes and other essentials. Dr. Chinnaswamy, who owns the clinic, noted: “It’s an annual thing so we continue to support Flamboyant Home. It’s something I give back to the community. Whether it’s the children’s home or it’s the old aged home in St. Kitts or Nevis, it’s an annual thing that we do every year.” Nurse Manager Ms Donna Hanley expressed gratitude: “For years now he has been donating valuable gifts to us. We are in the habit of utilising them well, and I would like to say thank you again.”
ROTARY CLUB OF LIAMUIGA DONATES WHEELCHAIRS — June 4, 2022
On Saturday June 4th, 2022, members of the Rotary Club of Liamuiga delivered wheelchairs to three persons on St. Kitts. “We have received several requests for wheelchairs for some time now. We are happy today to be able to donate these three wheelchairs and we hope to acquire more in the future to meet the needs of others both on St. Kitts and on Nevis as well,” said President Claudelle Gumbs. The recipients were Ms Sandra Mills of Saddlers, Mr Galveston Elliott of Greenlands, and Mr Shakeem Walters of Taylor’s. They expressed profound gratitude for the Club’s generosity.
