Karma Strikes Again

The regime is now suffering another bout of karma, this time infinitely worse than any previous one — the truly horrific dilemma faced by the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank, which has been struck by an IT security incident. We are NOT rejoicing at that development. We fully understand the severity of the matter, especially as almost all of government’s financial affairs are handled through that institution, and large numbers of our people and businesses do likewise. What we are attempting to point out is the fact that karma is once again exacting pain on a group who previously sought to damage the institution in a most unjustifiable way — using a contrived parliamentary ‘grievance’ over Speaker Curtis Martin’s employment at the Bank to attack the institution for political purposes. Those now in government should understand that karma is real, and the effects can be devastating.
