BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (Wednesday 17th November 2021) — Telecommunications firm FLOW has launched its ‘Make Christmas Sparkle’ promotion which includes bundle packages for family members and roommate households, as well as double the data packages expected to see $100s in savings for customers during the holiday season and beyond. The launch ceremony was held on Wednesday 17th November 2021 at the company’s flagship store located on Fort Street.
Responding to a question about the company’s move to help customers save amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, FLOW Country Manager David Lake stated: “When you bundle your services, you get to benefit from savings that you would not get if you were to purchase these services individually. The more you bundle the more you save — basically everybody is trying to find a way to make their budget stretch a little more in these times, and this is certainly one of our ways of achieving that.”
FLOW Director B2C Commercial North Caribbean Lorraine Mitchum shared details of the company’s fixed mobile convergence (FMC) portfolio, describing it as a “game-changing suite of value propositions to bring all your connectivity needs together for the first time on the island for less.” She explained that the FMC is “the combination or bundling of your home internet services with your postpaid mobile service. With bundling comes additional benefits and big savings.”
The starter package provides 20 gigs of data, 4,000 anywhere local minutes, 300 international minutes for $119. Family plans are available for households of two, three, or four. The family of two package provides 60 gigs of data, unlimited anywhere local minutes, 100 shared international minutes for $200, with market research showing a saving of $170 on mobile spend.
Lake explained the new data management feature: “Once you get your data limit, we allow you to get more data on a gig-by-gig basis. When you get to your limit, you get a message telling you how close you are, and if you wish to purchase an additional gig of data, it is just $10. You could go up to five gigs and that would cost you just $50. In the past if you had overage of 5 gigs, the bill would be something costly — so this is our way of helping to manage family budgets and making sure that you don’t get exorbitant bills.”
