BASETERRE, St. Kitts (Thursday 24th August 2023)- Score of cricket lovers and sports enthusiasts gathered at the Cricket Warner Park Stadium on Wednesday 23rd August 2023 for a 7:00 pm-start match of the Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL)which saw the Jamaica Tallawahs winning over the St.
Kitts and Nevis Patriots with an eight wicket victory. Notably, fans on the home franchise base expressed disappointment over the loss which follows the first game of the scheduled 23rd-27th August leg of the tournament played in the Federation.
On the flip side, the Jamaican patrons and supporters alike were seen celebrating wild with excitement throughout the game. Match 2 was played on Thursday 24th August, featuring St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots vs. the Guyana Amazon Warriors.
