This was what St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots Skipper Sherfane Rutherford had to say when quizzed by local reporters on what he would say to fans about the experience in St. Kitts. He remarks followed a losing streak closed off at the Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) for the 12th match of the tournament for games played at the Warner Park Cricket Stadium on Sunday 27th August 2023 which
saw the Trinbago Knight Riders winning against the Patriots by 6 wickets (with 17 balls remaining). Commenting on the team’s performance following that game, he said: “I think we didn’t bowl well again but having said that it’s cricket so nothing is guaranteed so I just think that we need to take the positive route and come back strong.” Questioned about the turnaround, Rutherford stated: first week of September ahead of the Friday 29th December 2023 show time.

It didn’t went [go] for us.” Results for other matches played in the Fderation featuring the Patriots, For the 10th Match on Saturday 26th August 26, 2023, Barbados Royals won by 6 wickets (with 9 balls remaining), for the 8th Match played on Thursday 24th August, Guyana Amazon Warriors won by 65 runs and for the 7th Match-which was the first game featuring the She applauded the work put in by the Chairperson of the Pageants Subcommittee Javon Liburd and his team.
“Javon and his team are really working hard with these ladies behind the scenes to ensure that ‘Miss St. Kitts and Nevis’ is a show this year. I know that the participation weaned off a bit over the past few years, and we wanted to ensure that our contestants had enough time to prepare for the competition.
Last year, they did not have enough time. This year we’re ensuring that these young ladies have enough time to prepare to put their best foot forward.” It was on that ‘Sugar Fix’ show when the public firat learnt about a planned early unveiling of the new contestants.
“We already have six amazing ladies who will be release in the first week of September when we have our official media launch and they are behind the scenes, practicing, working out, having their sessions. Their sessions have started,” Hawley said then.
