BASSETERRE (Friday 5th March 2021) — First Vice President of the St. Kitts-Nevis Trades & Labour Union Mr. Larry Vaughan has successfully completed a five-week ILO certified course in social dialogue, conducted virtually between 9 November and 11 December 2020. The course covered more than 40 labour relations concepts and ILO standards, including collective bargaining, labour relations in the public sector, tripartism, and the role of social dialogue during crises such as COVID-19. In his capstone paper, Vaughan recommended regularising the work of the national tripartite committee and introducing a public service union. The SKNT&LU congratulates Mr. Vaughan on this achievement.
