BASSETERRE (Friday 4th December 2020) — A corrected autopsy report for 32-year-old Rochelle ‘Boom Boom’ Bennett, who was found unconscious on the Newtown Bay Road on Sunday 22nd November, has been issued addressing critics’ concerns. The corrected report states death was due to “Severe Cerebral Edema, Right Hemorrhagic Brain Infarction due to Acute Drug Intoxication. The drugs found in elevated levels in her system were Marijuana and Cocaine. No foul play is suspected.” The Police apologised for the premature dissemination of the initial report, which incorrectly used the word ‘infection’ instead of ‘infarction’ and omitted cocaine from the toxicology findings.
