BASSETERRE (Friday 6th November 2020) — A woman is dead and her father hospitalised in the aftermath of a downed live electrical pole wire incident in Bath Village, Nevis, on Thursday 5th November 2020. The woman, believed to be in her 40s to 50s, was visiting her father when she tried to move the wire aside in the interest of safety and was electrocuted. Her father, upon realising his daughter was hurt, tried to assist and was also injured. More details in a follow-up report.
