Wanted Poster For Dead Woman’s Boyfriend Released

 BASSETERRE, St.Kitts (WEDNESDAY 24TH JANAUARY, 2018) – Via a wanted poster, police have officially released a photographic identity of Wayne ‘Spyer’ Chapman, the boyfriend of the latest murder victim 45-year-old Shirley Dawn Morton.

The 52-year old resident of Buck Hill, Hanley’s Road in Nevis is being sought for questioning in connection with the murder of his girlfriend whose lifeless body was discovered in his house on Sunday 21st January.

Autopsy results have revealed that multiple blunt force traumas to the head causing brain injury caused her death.

Chapman is described as being brown in complexion with hair that is kept very low or bald and has dark brown eyes. His built is said to be medium and he is 5’ 6’’ in height.

Additionally, the wanted man’s date of birth is given as May 8th 1965 with Nevis being his place of birth.

Persons with information regarding this matter are urged to assist by calling the Violent Crime Unit at the Cotton Ground Police Station at 469-5269, the Gingerland police station at 469-3448, the nearest police station or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-8477 (tips) where your information will be held confidential and you may be eligible for a reward.
