The Labour Spokesman Editorial

This week we shall attempt to remind you, the people of St. Kitts and Nevis, of the innumerable, outstanding accomplishments of Labour in advancing the causes of our people, and the general and overall development of our beloved country.

Our record in the various spheres of development is one that cannot be challenged in any objective way, and those advancements have always been achieved in the face of perpetual attempts to frustrate our people and our efforts.

Our beloved Comrade Leader, Dr. The Right Honourable Denzil Llewellyn Douglas, has given his unequivocal commitment that our policies and plans would be implemented within twelve to eighteen months of our return to office. Public servants and others can rest assured that their lot will be improved immediately. Our beloved Comrade Deputy Leader Marcella Liburd gave the assurance that we would implement the integrity of public life and freedom of information act within twelve months of taking office.

Our great Labour Movement will continue to operate by and live up to our motto “For The Good That We Can Do.” As Comrade Douglas previously indicated, for the sake of all our people, especially those who stand up for democracy, fairness, justice, law and order, we do need to end what he so aptly described as “This long night of captivity.”

Dear people of St. Kitts and Nevis, on Election Day remember to VOTE WISELY! On St. Kitts vote for LABOUR, and on Nevis vote for The NRP.
