The St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship-by-Investment Program has been ranked joint-6th in the world in the 2021 Global Citizenship Programs Index (GCPI), with a score of 69 out of 100, sharing the position with the Grenada Citizenship-by-Investment Program. Malta retained the top spot for the sixth consecutive year with a score of 80. The St. Lucia CBI Program ranked 4th with a score of 71, and Antigua and Barbuda ranked 5th with a score of 70. Demand for residence and citizenship-by-investment programs is at an all-time high, driven in part by the COVID-19 pandemic, which has prompted investors to view alternative citizenship as a “must-have essential asset.”
