It’s all about causing confusion. I heard he was looking for a massive spike in Covid cases after Music Festival. I heard he was trying to create unrest to trigger a state of emergency. I heard he had his legal team interpret the constitution to give him more time. I also heard that on Thursday he went up by Government House. Another march is on Friday. The first march was huge. Timothy must do something that he has difficulty doing, which is to let good sense prevail. When the people don’t want you, it makes no sense to try to stay.

That’s why Timothy is trying to paint St. Kitts orange. In the meantime, the other night I reached home at half past nine and there wasn’t one single drop of water in my pipe. I couldn’t bathe. I couldn’t flush my toilet. I couldn’t wash my hands. I couldn’t even brush my teeth. But water is not a priority. Only orange paint. It is so sad what this despot is trying to do to my beloved country. He is not satisfied with trying to start all sorts of major projects at this eleventh hour. He is obviously on a mission to empty the treasury — and the troubling part is that no one outside of THE FAMILY knows where the money is going. No one should be surprised that Timothy is trying to leave an empty treasury for the next government. Compare that to the millions that were left when Douglas and Labour lost power in 2015. It is evident that prior to 2015 the leaders put country above self, but from the get-go the Unity construct was only concerned about getting rich as quickly as possible and putting the people last.

The St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party and its new leadership headed by Dr Terrance Drew have given the electorate hope. But we have more work to do. We have to continue to pound the pavement. All the by ways and highways must be traversed by us. The candidates must knock on every single door. Absolutely no one is to be taken for granted. The ministers of government are servants of the people — that must be front and centre in all of our candidates’ interactions with the people. Let’s make it happen. Vote for the caring HAND of Labour.
