There is just this undeniable mood for grand merriment. The human spirit globally just feels so connected with wholesome goodness that it is easy to want to have that Christmas feeling throughout the year. ‘Season’s Greetings’, ‘Best Wishes To You and Your Family’ and even ‘Save A Plate For Me’ are some of the very top expressions of joy and togetherness that automatically warm the heart.
It is like a time of the year carved out for human beings to remember the virtues of love, kindness and peace among ourselves. Just for a moment, let us think about this earthly space filled with an abundance of goodwill and peace.
Of course, we know that we live in this imperfect world and so wishful thoughts can work in hope, but with action, perhaps day by day, we can be part of the positive change we want to see. But if we could just cherish and practice the good and humanitarian ways of Christmas throughout the year then our world and people would be so much better for it.
Then truly that Christmas feeling will surely linger on. In reality though with the festivity that Christmas brings, there are some families and individuals who are experiencing a tough and or emotional time while missing their departed loved ones who are no longer with them as of most recently or years ago.
Our hearts go out to all those who are affected by the Christmas blues in whatever way. During this time of year, our Federation of St. Kitts
Nevis is also in the festive mode for the National Carnival (Sugar Mas). We wish to encourage all the revelers, others participants and spectators alike a fun-filled and peaceful celebration coming together ‘All in With Your Crew for Sugar Mas 52.’ From the management and staff of Newspaper: Have a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!
