Driver To Face Judge After Shooting At Asses

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (Monday 12th November 2018)– A Nevis man is currently out on bail and is expected to face a magistrate this week in connection with shooting at donkeys crossing the road.

Police say that Virgil Browne of Nisbett Settlement was arrested and charged for the offence of Discharging a Firearm in a Public Place following an the incident occurred close to 2:00 AM last Friday (9th November) in the vicinity of Potworks.

Investigations so far have revealed that Browne was driving his vehicle when several donkeys began crossing the street.

The driver reported that he used his firearm to fire two shots at the donkeys as they crossed.

Browne has since received bail in the sum of $5,000 with two sureties for his appearance at the Charlestown Magistrate Court  come tomorrow (Tuesday).
