BASSETERRE (Friday 5th February 2021) — Well-known political and social activist Duncan ‘Big Lice’ Wattley recently took to the street outside Government Headquarters on Church Street to demonstrate alone with placards marching “for good governance, transparency and accountability” and against the government’s failure to deliver the change it promised. “I don’t need no crowd. If five people see it that’s good enough for me,” he said. He intends to protest at least once monthly, saying: “I think we are too complacent; we just take it for granted… Unity is failing us in regard to bringing the change that we wanted to see.”
