BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (Monday 6th November 2023) “According to the report received, some students had allegedly observed what appeared to be a firearm in a storeroom at the school earlier that day. A subsequent search of the storeroom by the school’s security officer yielded no results.” Such details were given by police in a statement issued on Friday 3rd November 2023.
This topic attracted much public debate. Information from the Ministry of Education-via a 2nd November press releaseindicated that Saddlers Secondary School was moved to remote learning to facilitate the search adding that such would remain until 3rd November, and return to face-toface instruction on Monday 6th November.
As reported by police, on October 31st, 2023, at approximately 6PM, the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) was officially informed of a possible security breach at the Saddler’s Secondary School.
