Two Returning Nationals COVID-19 Positive; RUSVM Student Flights Continue

BASSETERRE (Friday 25th September 2020) — CMO Dr. Hazel Laws reported that two returning nationals are currently in isolation having tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total to 19 confirmed positive cases with 17 having recovered. A total of 2,205 persons have been tested overall. A charter flight arrived from Miami with 116 RUSVM students, with another from San Juan expected with 8 more. Students undergo compulsory quarantine for 14 days on the RUSVM campus, followed by a COVID-19 test. Between April 24th and present, a total of 407 nationals have returned to the Federation.
