BASSEETERRE, St. Kitts (Wednesday 20th September 2023) – Born on the same day that the country gained independence, Kaya Archibald, 40, from Cayon Village has long felt special about her birthday since she was a child realizing the historical date.

Independence Day]. So yes, today is my birthday,” she stated with a smile following the first time introduction. Quizzed about what age she realized the significance of her birthday, Archibald had this to say: “I think at age 10.
I think when the Taiwanese; they usually picked me up from school half a day; actually here [at Government House] I remember I came for lunch here and they were doing a show… I was greeting [everyone] and I was feeling really special because I was the only one from my class that’s doing it.
