BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (Thursday 6th April 2023)- Social media reports about icy rainy drops-called hailon St. Kitts created a buzz on Thursday 6th April 2023 as cellphone videos and photographs were circulated during the rainy weather conditions that day.
Information reaching this media house indicates that the icy droplets were more visible in the rural areas of the Saddlers and Tabernacle communities. As understood by the media house, when a thunderstorm updraft causes water droplets to lift above freezing level hail is formed as result.
