Dear reader, it is quite evident even for the blindest of the blind to see that Dr. Timothy Sylvester Harris had no intention of ever abiding by the Charlestown Accord, or any other Accord or Agreement he signed. Two reasons could be offered for his hasty signing: (1) Dr. Harris knew that Shawn Richards, a Sagittarian, would never go back on his word; (2) Dr. Harris was already assured by the team that he would be their Leader. Shawn, being a Sagittarian and a good judge of men’s character, was derelict in his role as Leader of PAM in not interpreting that hasty signing as a non-genuine move. Two groups who were your former political foes, and you just sign like that, not looking to see if there was anything in the Accord to embroil you later on? As granny used to say: “An ounce of prevention is better than forty pounds of cure.”
The J.N.F. Hospital is in urgent need of repairs. The citizens of the Federation are in need of meaningful medical attention; but that does not matter to Dr. Timothy Sylvester Harris. A three hundred-cell prison in his constituency of Estridge is more important. The construction of the new prison enables someone to sell and benefit from some of the Citizenship By Investment passports at US$175,000 per passport. There is a famalaay supplying the new prison with concrete blocks. Another famalaay who owns heavy-duty equipment will be clearing the land on which the prison is to be constructed. Is Dr. Timothy Sylvester Harris, who is fully aware that his political end is in sight, ensuring that his famalaay is well off when he demits office?
His brother at the Development Bank was on suspension before the 2015 election; after the election he was re-instated and upgraded to CEO with an increase in salary. A sister who was on suspension as the Registrar of the High Court was re-instated. Yet another sister was made Magistrate of the small court, without any advertisement for the position. His brother who worked at the prison was elevated to a high position. Why were Mark and Shawn singing “Silent night” when all these things were happening? In 2015, at the launch of the Unity mirage at Greenland’s Park, Dr. Timothy came out greeting the followers “Famalaay, famalaay!” The crowd roared, thinking it was a good greeting for them by their Leader. It is only now dawning upon them, since the dismantling of the unity mirage, that the greeting was meant for the family of Dr. Harris and not them. To be continued next week.
