BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (Friday 9th August 2024) – Relaible information reaching this media house on Friday 9th August 2024 indicates that the ongoing search in locating 76-year-old Conse Edwards, a resident of Mrs. Stanley’s Elderly Home in Saddler’s, was called off after he was found dead.
A police spokesperson confirmed such by way of informing reporters that “Unfortunately he has been found dead in a ghaut in the Saddler’s mountain.” Edwards was last seen on the evening of August 1, 2024, around 6:00 pm. He was reportedly wearing long jeans and a royal blue shirt at the time of his disappearance.
In their ongoing efforts to find Edwards, police had inform on Thursday, 8th August, that their search operations have been concentrated on Saddler’s and Parsons’ beaches. Authorities are urging the public to assist in the search.
Of note, being circulated on social media was a poster for a search party that was slated for Saturday 10th August. More details to be provided.
