He noted that it is an excellent team that has not gotten into the final four this year, “but we can never, ever, take our eyes off of Conaree – they will be back stronger next year.” The two top teams were all along neck-to-neck from the 18 games each played, as St.

Peter’s FC won ten, drew five, and lost three to earn 35 points, while Cayon Rockets FC won nine games, drew seven, and lost two to earn 34 points. In the third position is Old Road United Jets FC with 32 points from eight wins, eight draws, and two loses; and in the fourth position is St.

Paul’s United FC with 31 points from nine wins, four draws, and five loses. Other teams in order are Village Superstars FC (30 points), Conaree FC (23 points), Bath United FC out of Nevis (23 points), Newtown United FC (23), Garden Hotspurs FC (16), and Trafalgar South Stars FC who lost in all their 18 outings conceding 74 goals in all.

“I want to congratulate all of them, and to say that this is a men’s league predominantly, and to say that men are doing positive things in St. Kitts and Nevis,” said Prime Minister Drew, who is also the Federal Minister of National Security.

“Let this be a message to all other men to leave negativity behind, to leave violence behind, to leave crime behind, and engage in positive activities such as football.  In conclusion, the Hon Prime Minister said: “I finally say congratulations to all and I look forward to an exciting final four.” Information from the St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) has it that in the playoffs that are to start on Sunday July 28, St.

Peter’s FC will face Old Road United Jets FC, while Cayon Rockets FC will face off with St. Paul’s United FC. Playoffs will continue on Wednesday July 31, and on Saturday August 3.
