Historic Full Attendance Marks 50th CARICOM Heads Meeting in Saint Kitts and Nevis

History was made last evening, February 24th, at the Opening Ceremony of the 50th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), as all leaders of the full Member States gathered in one place, the first time in over a decade that such full attendance has been recorded.

Authorities Investigating Ship Crew Members Who Left Vessel

Superintendent Cromwell Henry has informed that there is an investigation into an incident involving two crew members of a visiting cargo ship who left the vessel and visited a local supermarket which has resulted in them being tested for COVID-19 while a local worker has been placed in quarantine.

St. Kitts Provides Safe Harbour for Royal Caribbean Group Grandeur of the Seas and Rhapsody of the Seas

t. Kitts will provide  "Safe Harbouring" for the Royal Caribbean Group Vessels, Grandeur of the Seas, originating from the Port of Miami/Coco Cay and Rhapsody of the Seas originating from St. Maarten.  Rhapsody of  the Seas will arrive into the Federation on Sunday, December 6th 2020, and meet the Federation’s COVID-19 regulations, including arrival travel requirements, and health and safety protocols for all international travelers. Grandeur of the Seas is due to arrive later next week and a confirmed date will be announced.
