The high numbers coupled with the frequency of traffic accidents in St. Kitts-Nevis is quite alarming and disturbing to say the least. It is becoming now that almost every week there is some collision both on road and off road.

What is really happening? Why are these accidents happening so frequently? Are we not practicing road courtesy and all that road safety we were taught whe+n we were all so eager, excited and anxious to get our driver’s license?

It’s is almost like people are driving in the own world. Wake up! The world – the real world requires your full attention which means it is like team work with the other motorists. Picture it with me: The patience, the alertness and the awareness of being in the moment concentrating on doing all the right things to get a passing grade. I remember a few years ago a lady shared her story about a wild bus ride she had to protest to while on the way to Basseterre.

As told by her, she expressed her concern about the bus driver who

The woman was satisfied with her decision in putting her safety first. some of as drivers take due care and Perhaps the other passengers should attention on the road because death have joined her.

But then again, people and serious body harm is a who are running late and those who possibility? You are expected home enjoy those kinds of ground flights and it is truly unfortunate the three would definitely not side with that young men have lost their lives. ‘scaredy cat’.

Sadly, today, some passengers still have to bellow to drivers the police are seriously concerned that “Hey, slow down; you’re not about the number and frequency of driving potatoes!” With recent traffic accidents, there Nevis. has been deaths. Condolences goes out to all the bereaved family members, safety!
