Editorial
The recent turn of events in America have left many persons confused and befuddled. It took the demagoguery of a known dictator, combined with the skulduggery of a minority elitist political party, all bent on holding on to power no matter what, to bring matters to a head. The facade has been ripped away, and their hypocrisy laid bare for the whole world to see. Here at home, matters are not much different — indeed, they are even worse. Our country is now in a terrible state, financially, economically, and otherwise. COVID did not cause it, but has most certainly helped to make an already bad situation worse. Had it not been for the horrible ripping-off of our country, we would have been in a very good position to minimise the deleterious effects of the pandemic. Be patient, dear people of St. Kitts and Nevis, but be prepared. The fight is long, hard, and continuous. Always remember, the struggle NEVER ends!
